Temporary Summer Veterinary Assistant

📋 Description

• Temporary full-time position (40 hrs/week) with rotating four 10-hour shifts.
• Scribe for Veterinarians during visits
• Support medical team with surgeries, x-rays, treatments
• Compassionately handle and restrain pets for exams
• Record and report on patient symptoms
• Clearly communicate pricing estimates and treatment plans to clients

🎯 Requirements

• 1+ year experience as veterinary assistant or kennel assistant
• Working knowledge of veterinary terminology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask
• High proficiency typing and using multiple computer systems
• A passion for pets
