• Audit and reconcile approximately 200 federal, state, and local payroll tax filings for five U.S. entities.
• Research variances, resolve tax notices, and file amendments with agencies.
• Maintain organized documentation of audits and research performed.
• Remote role; up to 40 hours/week; 3-month duration; $35-$45/hour.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of U.S. payroll tax experience for a large multi-state employer.
• Operate independently with minimal oversight.
• Self-starter; works with sense of urgency.
• Advanced Excel skills including V-Lookup and Pivot Tables.
• Prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
