📋 Description

• Audit and reconcile ~200 federal, state, and local payroll tax filings.
• Research variances, resolve tax notices, file amendments with agencies.
• Maintain organized documentation of audits and research.
• Remote role; up to 40 hours per week.
• Contract; duration ~3 months.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of U.S. payroll tax experience for a large multi-state employer.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight.
• Self-starter; works with urgency.
• Advanced Excel skills including V-Lookup and Pivot Tables.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent experience.
