Temporary, Payroll Accountant (US and Canadian Payroll)

📋 Description

• Prepare payroll-related journal entries and record them in NetSuite
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline
• Accurately reconcile and record payroll-related cash transactions
• Prepare monthly payroll accrual and actual payroll expense load files for the GL accounting team
• Process biweekly Canadian payroll for two legal entities
• Reconcile monthly benefits billing statements to internal payroll records

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years payroll accounting experience
• Hands-on NetSuite and/or Blackline experience
• Solid understanding of US payroll compliance; Canadian payroll a plus
• Meticulous about accuracy and takes ownership of details
• Clear communicator with cross-functional responsiveness
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CPP a plus
