Temporary, Payroll Accountant (US and Canadian Payroll)

📋 Description

• Prepare payroll journal entries in NetSuite
• Balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline; resolve variances within 30 days
• Reconcile payroll cash transactions accurately
• Prepare monthly payroll accrual and expense load files for GL
• Process biweekly Canadian payroll for two entities; ensure compliance
• Reconcile benefits billing statements to payroll records
• Support year-end reconciliations, compliance reviews, and internal audits

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of payroll accounting experience
• Hands-on with NetSuite and/or Blackline
• US federal/state payroll compliance; Canadian payroll a plus
• Meticulous with accuracy and attention to detail
• Clear communicator; responds to cross-functional requests
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/CPP a plus
