Temporary Payroll Accountant

📋 Description

• Prepare payroll-related journal entries and record them in NetSuite
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline, resolving variances
• Accurately reconcile and record payroll-related cash transactions
• Prepare monthly payroll accrual and actual payroll expense load files for the GL
• Process biweekly Canadian payroll for two entities, ensuring compliance
• Support year-end reconciliations, compliance reviews, and internal audits as needed

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of payroll accounting experience
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite and/or Blackline
• Solid understanding of payroll compliance (US/CA); Canadian payroll a plus
• Meticulous about accuracy and attention to detail
• Clear communicator who responds quickly to cross-functional requests
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance preferred; CPA or CPP a plus
