📋 Description

  • Maintain detailed records of property transfers from LIC/York Ave to Breuer for exhibitions.
  • Track piece count, tagging, condition status, and documentation.
  • Coordinate return transfers after exhibitions; reconcile paperwork and repackaging.
  • Communicate with Inventory Control, Registrar, and Specialist teams for handoffs.
  • Ensure works are handled per Sotheby’s safety and security protocols.
  • Partner with cross-departmental teams to support pre-sale activities across multiple locations.

🎯 Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1–3 years in logistics, registrar support, or collections management in an art, gallery, or museum setting
  • Strong understanding of art handling, condition reporting, and inventory tracking
  • Highly organized with excellent record-keeping and communication skills
  • Comfortable working across multiple sites with shifting priorities
  • Experience with inventory databases and internal scheduling systems preferred
