- Act as escalation point for IT and AV customers; troubleshoot escalated tickets (phone preferred)
- Diagnose/resolve Layer 2/3 switching, QoS, IGMP, STP, and AV protocols (Dante, NDI, AES67)
- Collaborate with engineering/product teams to resolve bugs
- Assist with advanced configurations, firmware validation, and lab replication
- Document solutions, root causes, and workarounds in the knowledge base
- Stay up to date with emerging networking and AV tech and product roadmaps
๐ฏ Requirements
- 2โ4+ years in technical support, network ops, or field support; AV-over-IP/enterprise switching preferred
- Hands-on with IGMP Snooping/Querier, multicast optimization; VLANs, QoS, STP/RSTP, Ethernet switching
- Wireless networking deployment/troubleshooting
- Familiarity with ProAV systems/tools: Dante Controller, Q-SYS, NDI Studio Monitor, AMX, NVX
- Experience with NETGEAR or similar switches (Cisco/Extreme/Aruba) in support/deploy
- Certifications preferred: NETGEAR Certified, Dante Level 2+, AVIXA CTS, CCNA or CWNA
