- Inspect flight hardware using metrology tools (micrometers, bore gauges, Romer arm, CMM).
- Provide in-process and final inspections against CAD, drawings, and specs.
- Determine pass/fail and document outcomes for hardware.
- Identify non-conformances and deviations; report to relevant teams.
- Give feedback to Engineering and other teams to resolve quality issues.
- Collaborate with Production and Quality to improve processes.
π― Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Quality Inspector.
- Excellent knowledge of GD&T.
- Review drawings and identify improper callouts per ASME Y14.5.
- Experience with metrology tools: calipers, micrometers, bore gages, thread gages.
- CMM/PCMM experience using Verisurf or similar software.
- Document inspection outcomes via AS9102, NCRs.
- Experience with AS9100, ISO9001, or similar QMS.
- Excellent communication and teamwork with engineering and shop staff.
