- Storage engineering: NAS, SAN, SSD, multi-pathing, caching
- Experience building and maintaining complex production database systems
- Read code and script in Java, Python, JavaScript, Node.js or Go
- Broad awareness of workloads including performance, availability and scalability
- Ability to analyze issues holistically from app through storage
