Technical Revenue Accounting

📋 Description

• Author ASC 606 memos analyzing complex revenue recognition and conclusions
• Evaluate revenue treatment for new products, incl. performance obligations and contract mods
• Advise on revenue accounting implications of GTM strategies and pricing
• Review revenue contracts; prepare ASC 606 checklists and position papers
• Lead research on emerging revenue recognition issues and present findings to leadership
• Develop and maintain revenue recognition policies and guidance

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years accounting with ASC 606 and complex revenue recognition
• Experience drafting technical memos, position papers, and assessments
• Strong ASC 606 knowledge: performance obligations, contract mods
• Articulate complex accounting positions clearly and conduct research
• Hands-on rev recognition tools: NetSuite ARM, Oracle Fusion, Workday, RevPro
• Proven project management and ability to drive results
