Technical Lead, Host Assurance

📋 Description

• Own host assurance by defining baseline security for bare-metal hosts.
• Ensure hosts are verifiably trustworthy from delivery to readiness to join orchestration systems.
• Design, implement, operate the Host Assurance platform: PKI, HSM-backed services, and host identity tooling.
• Validate hardware and firmware against vendor claims and manage drift over time.
• Eliminate insecure bootstrap patterns; partner with provisioning, fleet, and orchestration teams.
• Lead incident response and drive reliability improvements for scale.

🎯 Requirements

• Built and scaled deeply technical security or infrastructure teams with people management.
• Led senior engineers with hands-on technical leadership.
• Deep experience with PKI, HSMs, machine identity, host attestation, secure boot.
• Built and operated security-critical infra on the path to large-scale production.
• Comfortable owning low-level, high-impact systems where correctness matters.
• Balance rigor with pragmatism to move quickly without compromising trust.
