Technical Lead - DevEx + Cloud Infrastructure

📋 Description

• Lead two teams (DevEx & Cloud Infra) totaling 6-8 engineers; set direction, review designs, raise standards.
• Own delivery toolchain (Git, CI, deployments); reduce flakiness and improve build/test times.
• Own reliability and scalability of Traackr cloud infra; keep production well-architected, cost-efficient, and resilient. Lead incident response and postmortems.
• Improve the software development lifecycle and standardize environments to reduce tooling time.
• Identify AI opportunities in developer workflows with secure defaults around security and data handling.
• Mentor engineers through documentation, pairing, and lightweight coaching.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years software engineering; focus on 3+ areas (DevEx, CI/CD, release engineering, tooling, or cloud infra).
• Go or similar backend language; building internal services, CLI tools, REST APIs.
• Hands-on with CI platforms (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), Git platforms (GitHub, Bitbucket), and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Helm).
• Kubernetes deployments (EKS preferred), cluster management, deployment safety.
• Improve pipeline performance with observability (SLOs/SLIs, Grafana/Prometheus/Datadog).
• Experience scoping cross-functional work and running org-wide rollouts, migrations, deprecations.
