Lead FHIR, SMART on FHIR, and CDS Hooks integrations with VA EHR (VistA/CPRS)
Define and drive system architecture and microservices for the platform
Set technical direction for the engineering team and stay hands-on when needed
Champion DevSecOps, CI/CD, and containerization across frontend & backend teams
Evaluate AWS services and recommend cloud-native improvements post-migration
Bridge engineering, product, and stakeholders; translate complexity into direction

🎯 Requirements

Hands-on FHIR and API integration experience in complex, integration-heavy environments
Experience integrating with VA EHR systems such as VistA/CPRS or Oracle Health strongly preferred
Proficiency with AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker
Experience with Terraform and Helm is a plus
Familiarity with VA IAM, EntraID, or Okta is a plus
Bachelor’s degree
