Technical Field Deployment Engineer, 911 Systems (Remote)

📋 Description

• Plan, design, and execute end-to-end deployment projects for cloud call-handling solutions.
• Work with customers to understand needs and ensure successful implementations.
• Provide advanced technical training and knowledge transfer to customers during deployment.
• Collaborate with engineering on complex solutions and troubleshooting.
• Be a trusted advisor; provide ongoing deployment support, including after hours.
• Improve deployment processes and documentation for efficiency and scalability.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years in a VoIP-related technical role (PBX, Call Center).
• Proven knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience planning, executing, and delivering complex projects.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Experience with network infrastructure, including routers, firewalls, and the OSI model.
• Nice-to-haves: Experience with public safety industry (ENP Certification/NG911).
• Nice-to-haves: Knowledge of Cisco UCS and/or FreeSWITCH.
• Nice-to-haves: Knowledge of streaming technologies (SIP, RTSP, RTMP, SIP-to-PSTN gateways, SIP Trunk, Wowza, WebRTC).
