  • Design, build, and maintain character rigs for real-time animation.
  • Develop and support animation tools to improve artist workflows.
  • Collaborate with animators and artists to solve deformation, skinning, and control.
  • Optimize rigs, skeletons, and animation systems for memory and runtime.
  • Support animation state machines, blend trees, and in-engine systems.
  • Troubleshoot animation, rigging, and deformation issues.

🎯 Requirements

  • 3–4 years as Technical Artist, Technical Animator, or Character Rigger.
  • Strong rigging, skinning, deformation, and animation pipelines.
  • Experience with modern engines (Unreal, Unity or similar).
  • Experience with Unreal Control Rig for runtime use.
  • Python or MEL scripting, plus engine-side scripting.
  • Maya or other 3D DCC tools.
