- Analyze and operationalize complex US GAAP transactions (stock-based compensation, leases, capitalized software, and equity).
- Collaborate with legal, finance, corporate accounting, auditors, and valuation specialists.
- Develop and maintain Scale’s accounting policies aligned with US GAAP.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements and related footnotes for audit.
- Support monthly accounting with journal entries for technical transactions.
- Monitor, assess, and implement new accounting pronouncements.
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA heavily preferred.
- 5+ years in public accounting (Big 4 preferred).
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting; research and apply guidance.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to communicate complex accounting concepts clearly.
- Experience developing and operationalizing accounting policies and procedures.
