Technical Abuse Investigator

📋 Description

• Detect, investigate and disrupt abuse with policy, security, and eng teams.
• Develop and iterate abuse signals; scale insights to reduce manual work.
• Build lightweight tech solutions (SQL/Python pipelines, dashboards).
• Understand OpenAI products, data systems, and enforcement mechanisms.
• Communicate findings via briefs and data-backed recommendations.
• On-call rotations; PST hours; remote within the US; SF/NY preferred.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep expertise in at least two domains from agentic AI misuse; automation; encryption; fraud; violence; data science; api abuse; prompt injection.
• 5+ years of experience investigating and mitigating abuse in a relevant domain.
• 2+ years of relevant technical projects.
• Strong presenter on safety work in public or policy settings.
• Experience scaling or automating processes, especially with LLMs or ML techniques.
