Lead end-to-end Vertex configuration including Vertex O Series and Vertex Edge.
Design tax logic for real-time checkout, invoicing, and reporting.
Ensure consistent tax engine behavior across sandbox, staging, and production.
Develop custom taxability drivers, material group logic, and Pre/Post-Tax rules.
Entity management: create and customize new taxpayers for new projects.
Collaborate with Financial Engineering, Product Engineering, and Finance Systems on integration patterns.

🎯 Requirements

8+ years in tax engine implementation or enterprise tax architecture
Strong experience with Vertex or OneSource tax engines
Familiarity with billing/ERP systems such as Oracle/NetSuite
Experience with checkout flows and payment platforms
Comfort with XML/JSON tax data
SDLC/change-management with documentation and testing discipline
