Compliance Associate-Digital Assets role,

you will

leverage your expertise in blockchain technology and transaction monitoring to identify and investigate suspicious cryptocurrency activity, ensuring our firm’s adherence to regulatory requirements such as AML and KYC. You will work closely with compliance and risk teams to develop and maintain surveillance protocols, utilize advanced blockchain analytical tools, and stay current on evolving industry trends and regulations. This is a critical role for mitigating financial crime risks and supporting the firm’s commitment to regulatory compliance and security.

What You’ll Do:

Monitor cryptocurrency transactions and blockchain activity for signs of suspicious or illicit behavior
Utilize blockchain analytical software to satisfy the Firm's KYT requirements and flag and identify potential risks
Investigate and document findings related to suspicious transactions or wallets
Work closely with compliance and risk teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements such as AML and KYC
Develop and maintain surveillance protocols and automate detection processes.
Stay updated on the latest cryptocurrency trends, threats, regulations, and enforcement actions
Report and escalate suspicious activities to appropriate regulatory or law enforcement agencies as required
Provide training and guidance to internal teams on crypto-related compliance risks

Who You Are:

Strong understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency markets
Experience with transaction monitoring tools and blockchain analytics platforms (e.g., Chainalysis, Elliptic)
Knowledge of AML, KYC, and financial crime prevention regulations
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex data
Background in compliance, fraud detection, finance, or cybersecurity is preferred
Excellent communication and reporting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team

Salary Range:

$90,000 - $120,000

The actual salary offered will be based on the candidate's level of experience and qualifications

Discretionary performance bonus: 8-12% of base salary based on individual and company performance
