Achmea is looking for a practical and solution-oriented .NET Developer to strengthen our multidisciplinary development team in Apeldoorn. You’ll work in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating with professionals from different disciplines to deliver high-quality, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
This is an exciting long-term assignment (until at least July 2026) where you’ll help build and maintain robust APIs and backend systems that are critical to Achmea’s digital ecosystem.
Design, build, and maintain APIs using ASP.NET Core (.NET / C#.NET).
Develop and optimize WEB/REST APIs and backend services.
Apply Fluent Validation and Assertion to ensure code quality.
Collaborate closely with your team in an Agile/Scrum setting.
Use Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, version control, and deployments.
Manage defects and define product risks throughout the development lifecycle.
Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tools, and team practices.
A practical problem solver with a proactive attitude.
Team-oriented and open to feedback — both technical and personal.
Experienced working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Brings at least 5+ years of relevant .NET development experience.
Required:
Experience with .NET / C#.NET and ASP.NET Core (API development).
Strong understanding of WEB/REST APIs, MVC, XML/JSON.
Experience with Fluent Validation / Assertion.
Proficiency with GIT/TFS and Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines).
Knowledge of defect management and product risk definition.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of ADO, OpenShift, or GITOps.
Experience with test automation.
Familiarity with SAP backend integration.
Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).
