Senior Frontend Developer (React/TypeScript)

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer with strong expertise in React and TypeScript to join our agile development team in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate combines deep technical mastery with a pragmatic, hands-on mindset—someone who excels at building scalable solutions, thrives in collaborative environments, and enjoys working with modern toolchains end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, maintainable frontend architectures using React and TypeScript.

• Build well-structured, reusable UI components and ensure high code quality through unit tests and automated pipelines.

• Apply performance optimization techniques to deliver smooth, high-performing web applications.

• Collaborate closely with backend, DevOps, and product teams to design robust full-stack solutions.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices, tooling, and code standards.

• Work effectively within an agile team, delivering value iteratively and participating in code reviews, stand-ups, and sprint ceremonies.

Required Technical Skills

• Expert-level TypeScript skills, with experience across Node.js, Angular, and React ecosystems.

• Strong understanding of modular and scalable component architecture, design patterns, and best practices.

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration concepts.

• Proficiency with modern development tooling:

  • NX for monorepo management

  • ESLint & Prettier for code quality

  • GitHub Actions for CI/CD and automated testing

  • Grafana for monitoring and insights

  • Docker and GitHub for daily development workflows

• Ability to build robust test suites and work within automated build and deployment pipelines.

• End-to-end development exposure with full-stack capabilities, while maintaining a strong focus on frontend engineering.

• Experience working with distributed systems or large-scale applications.

• Familiarity with observability and performance monitoring tools.
