OrganizationalContext
Withinourclient’sITorganization,developmentdepartmentsareresponsiblefordeliveringneworupdatedICTapplicationsontime,withinbudget,andwiththerightquality.
TheSeniorDevOpsEngineerworksaspartofthesedepartmentsanddefinesthebestpossibletechnicalsolutionsthatmeetbothbusinessandoperationalrequirements.
Theroleinvolvescollaborationwith:
- ProjectManagers,Developers,andInformationAnalysts
- InfrastructureandOperationsteams
- EnterpriseArchitectsandtheCIOOffice
- BusinessstakeholdersandexternalICTvendors
- PartnerorganizationsinjointICTprojects
KeyResponsibilities
1.ArchitectureandDesign
- DesignanddeveloptheGoogleCloudPlatform(GCP)foundationforSAPsolutions.
- Engineer,automate,andoptimizethecloudinfrastructureusingTerraformandGitHub.
- EnsurethatSecurityandFinOpsprinciplesareintegratedintoalldesigns.
- Defineclear,feasibleICTsolutionsthatmeetbusinessrequirementsandfollowenterprisearchitecturestandards.
- Providetechnicalguidanceanddesigndocumentationfordevelopmentandinfrastructureteams.
2.ImplementationSupport
- SupportprojectteamsinimplementingthedesignedICTsolutions.
- Reviewdetaileddesignsandensuretheyalignwiththeagreedarchitecture.
- TroubleshootandassistserviceteamswithoperationalissuesontheGCPSAPfoundation.
- Provideinputfortesting,deployment,andservicelevelagreements(SLAs).
3.GovernanceandCompliance
- Ensureallsolutionscomplywithcorporatearchitectureandoperationalstandards.
- Participateinarchitecturereviewmeetingsanddocumentkeydesigndecisions.
- Adviseontechnicalrisksandproposemitigationstrategies.
4.ContinuousImprovement
- Stayuptodatewithnewtechnologiesandmethodsincloud,DevOps,andinfrastructureengineering.
- Contributetoimprovingarchitectureframeworks,standards,anddesignpractices.
- Shareknowledgeandprovidetechnicalmentoringtocolleagues.
Requirements
Education&Knowledge
- Bachelor’sorMaster’sdegreeinICT,ComputerScience,orarelatedfield.
- StrongknowledgeofGoogleCloudPlatform,especiallynetworking,security,andlandingzonedesign.
- Hands-onexperiencewithTerraformandGitHub.
- UnderstandingofICTdevelopmentprocesses,cloudarchitectures,andautomationpractices.
- Goodunderstandingofdataandinformationarchitecture.
- ExcellentcommunicationskillsinEnglish(bothwrittenandspoken).
Experience
- Minimumof5yearsofexperienceasaDevOpsEngineer,CloudEngineer,orICTArchitect.
- Experiencedesigninganddeliveringcomplexcloud-basedsolutions.
