We are looking for a Senior

who can deliver and maintain IT applications and services that support the organization's information technology strategy.

Our client operates a state-of-the-art Data Lake based on technologies such as IBM InfoSphere (DataStage and Information Governance Catalogue), Oracle Exadata and Cognos, while actively transitioning towards a modern cloud-based data platform.

As a Senior Engineer, you will join a Mortgages product team (6–8 people) consisting of Data Engineers and Data Management Experts. You will also work closely with the Product Lead, who sets backlog priorities. Each data squad is responsible for the full lifecycle of its sources—from real-time or batch extraction to delivering Data Marts for reporting. Agile maturity is essential, as the team does not have a dedicated Scrum Master.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Onboarding ~160 Mortgages Data Files

  into the Data Lake using senior-level DataStage expertise.

• Designing and building an

  Integration Layer

  and providing architectural guidance to junior engineers.

• Creating mapping specifications and developing ETL jobs for Mortgages Integration Layer ingestion.

• Acting with a

  strong sense of ownership

  , working independently with a can-do mindset.

You will work in a multidisciplinary Agile DevOps team within a matrix organization (Spotify model).

The Data Management area uses

, a hybrid of relational and Data Vault methodologies. Data Marts are modeled using

, including hands-on use of

.

In collaboration with the product team, you will design, develop, test and deploy IBM Information Server artifacts (primarily DataStage), as well as develop Cognos Analytics frameworks and packages.

• 10+ years as a Data Engineer in comparable environments

• Strong experience with

  DataStage

  (or similar ETL tooling)

• Data Modeling (Data Vault, Dimensional Modelling, etc.)

• Experience with Oracle Exadata, Netezza, SQL Server or similar

• Experience with

  UAC

  or similar scheduling tools

• SQL

• Bash scripting

• Fluent English communication skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in an IT-related field

• GIT or similar version control systems

• Experience with Azure pipelines

• Reporting tools: Cognos Analytics, Business Objects, etc.

• InfoSphere Information Server Enterprise Edition components

  (eg, Information Governance Catalog)

• End-to-end data integration delivery (Dev + Ops)

• Agile development (Scrum/Kanban)

• Experience in multidisciplinary Agile teams

• Experience with cloud platform data tooling (as the organization moves toward a cloud-native data capability)
