Working Environment

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of Platform and Data Engineers operating in a modern, Agile environment. The team builds and maintains cloud-native data platforms that ingest, enrich, and transform metadata from Public Cloud providers such as Azure and GCP, making this information available through dashboards and reporting solutions used by internal cloud consumers worldwide.

  • Enable insights on cloud compliance, policy adherence, FinOps, and operational metrics through dashboards.

  • Collaborate closely with Platform Engineers, Data Engineers, and stakeholders across multiple teams.

  • Ensure data solutions are secure, scalable, well-documented, and aligned with platform standards.

  • Take end-to-end ownership of data solutions, from design to production support.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team when solving complex engineering challenges.

  • Continuously improve data quality, reliability, and performance.

  • Stay up to date with the latest cloud and data engineering trends and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.

  • Strong experience with Azure ADX, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Function Apps, and Event Grid.

  • Proven expertise in data collection, processing, and analysis.

  • Proficient in multiple programming languages such as Python, Java, and Bash.

  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible).

  • Solid knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.

  • Experience working with Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic cloud environment.

  • Ability to coach and support peers on technical topics.

Education & Background
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology or a related field.

  • Experience working in high-performing Agile / Scrum teams.

  • Relevant certifications and/or proven proficiency in required technologies are a strong plus.

  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.

  • Strong team player with experience working in cross-country and international teams.

  • Demonstrated ownership mindset with attention to security, documentation, and standardization.
