As a Data & Reporting Engineer, you understand the critical role of data in business decision-making. You are passionate about transforming data into actionable insights through powerful visualizations and user-friendly interfaces. You collaborate closely with business stakeholders to define requirements, design analytical solutions, and deliver high-quality dashboards and reports that support strategic and operational decisions.
Your Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and analyze business stakeholders’ data and reporting needs.
Explore available data sources and assist in defining and measuring KPIs.
Design, build, and maintain intuitive dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
Develop data visualizations that drive insights, performance management, and informed decision-making.
Manage project progress and proactively communicate with stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional experts for input, data integration, and solution alignment.
Support and train business users to leverage self-service analytics and dashboards.
Contribute to the growth and knowledge-sharing of the BI community within Schiphol.
You are a next-generation professional with a passion for data analytics, visual storytelling, and continuous improvement. You combine technical expertise with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. You thrive in an agile environment and are eager to learn, innovate, and make an impact.
You Bring5–7 years of experience as a Data Analyst / BI Developer.
Proven experience building Business Intelligence solutions with Microsoft Power BI.
Strong proficiency in DAX and SQL.
Familiarity with Agile / DevOps ways of working.
Understanding of data warehousing concepts such as ETL/ELT and star schema modeling.
Excellent communication skills inEnglish, (Dutch would be a big plus)
A proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset.
