Your Role

We are looking for an experienced React Native App Developerto join our product development team and help deliver high-quality, customer-facing applications that WOW drivers at every journey touchpoint.

You’ll work in a cross-functional Scrum team with designers, backend engineers, and QA to build best-in-class mobile experiences for EV drivers. Your focus will be on performance, usability, and delightful design, working entirely in React Native with native components (no Expo).

You will contribute to both the Fastned mobile app and in-car applications, helping shape the future of electric mobility.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and review code for Fastned’s React Native applications

• Implement cross-platform features with React Native and native Android/iOS integrations

• Transform Figma designs into polished, functional UI components

• Refine requirements with the team to deliver impactful solutions

• Enhance product usability and contribute to our design system

• Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies and technical decision-making

Who We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience with React Native

• Proficient in Next.js, React, and TypeScript

• Skilled in cross-platform mobile development, including native modules & APIs

• Strong ability to translate complex designs from Figma into UI components

• Experience with React Query

• Familiar with app distribution on iOS App Store and Google Play Store

• Know-how with CI/CD tools (e.g., Bitrise)

• Experience with Jest for testing

• Background in native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) development

• Analytical, detail-oriented, and well-organized

• Creative problem-solver, able to guide solutions independently

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Familiar with Agile/Scrum development

• Passionate about the energy transition and Fastned’s mission

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Maestro testing

• Portfolio or published apps in the Google Play or Apple App Store

• Experience with Apple CarPlay / Android Auto development
