Location: Petten, the Netherlands (PALLAS Organisation)
Company: PALLAS (via Sytac)
The PALLAS organisation is leading one of the most significant nuclear infrastructure projects in Europe: the replacement of the High Flux Reactor (HFR) in the Netherlands. The new facility will play a critical role in advancing nuclear research and the production of medical isotopes that directly impact global healthcare.
As part of this groundbreaking initiative, PALLAS is developing a Common Data Environment (CDE) to classify, harmonize, and integrate engineering and asset data across the reactor’s lifecycle—ensuring safe, efficient, and future-proof operations.
The Lead Information Architect (LIA) will be responsible for the overall development and integrity of the content of the PALLAS Common Data Environment (CDE) which holds all Non-Graphical design, configuration and asset management data for the Project.
This responsibility includes:
Developing and maintaining the IIM (Integrated information Model) and RDL (Reference Data Library) in the CDE. Both IIM and RDL form the PALLAS Ontology
Developing mapping/techniques for importing non-graphical data from models provided by the designers of the facility to the CDE
Administering the CDE application configuration (supported by Weaver Technologies, the platform vendor)
Developing reports and visualization solutions to present CDE data in a meaningful way to meet customer needs
Alignment the development of the CDE to the Digital Enterprise Strategy (which defines the future landscape of PALLAS operational IT
Sharing requirements with the CDE Development teams for implementation in the CDE
You will be responsible for the content development of our Common Data Environment (CDE), which is combined with a unique
data scrubbing facility
. This ensures that engineering data streams from various sources are cleaned and translated into uniform and integrated data.
A unique challenge!
Unique in terms of the complexity, size, and nature of the project: the construction of a nuclear reactor.
And unique, because this greenfield project offers the perfect opportunity to make your mark on our information architecture. You can count on a thorough onboarding period and support from the leading expert in this field; he can teach you everything about semantic modeling, CDE, and RDL.
You can also count on support from external consultants, the graph platform vendor, and your Information Management (IM) colleagues. Your main responsibilities will be developing and maintaining:
The Integrated Information Model (IIM) and Reference Data Library (RDL) in the CDE
Mapping/techniques for importing data (via the 'carwash for data')
Reports and visualization solutions for presenting CDE data
