Fullstack Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Full-Stack Developer to support our client in building advanced fiscal web applications using Python.

• Proficiency in a backend webserver language such as Python or Node.js. The primary stack is Python with FastAPI.

• Experience with modern web development frameworks such as React, Vue, or server-side rendering. Our client uses an HTMX-like framework (fixi.js) combined with web components and Jinja.

• Solid experience working with databases as a web developer. The environment uses MarkLogic, a NoSQL database.

• Exposure to AI-driven systems is a plus, especially experience with vector databases and RAG architectures.

• Experience with GitHub Actions is an advantage.

• Experience with API development is a plus.

• Strong analytical skills, ideally supported by formal education in computer science, mathematics, or a related discipline.

• A hands-on, practical developer—not a team lead or managerial profile.

• Able to integrate into an existing team working on complex applications.

• Acts with integrity and takes ownership of their work.

• Curious, eager to learn, and motivated to contribute meaningful improvements.

• A collaborative team player who values diverse ideas and communicates with empathy.

• Comfortable working in an agile team environment.

• Demonstrates high standards in approach, code quality, and documentation.

• Expected to be present 60% on-site at the Amsterdam office.

  • Wednesdays are mandatory due to the weekly team meeting.
