SVP - Head of Finance  Accounting

📋 Description

• Own the finance function: accounting, close, back-office ops, billing, costs, and compliance.
• Build the finance function from the ground up to scale Monstros growth.
• Oversee multi-entity global finance, revenue recognition, and tax compliance.
• Manage client billing, usage-based invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition.
• Build cost attribution for API/data usage and vendor costs; ensure traceability.
• Develop spend reporting and a compliance framework; coordinate with legal/auditors.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years in finance/accounting with 40–5 years in senior leadership at fintech/SaaS.
• Bachelors in Accounting or Finance; MBA or MAcc a plus.
• Hands-on experience building financial infrastructure for high-growth SaaS/fintech.
• Experience with B2B2C or usage-based billing; end-user cost attribution.
• Familiarity with API economics, cloud costs, and data licensing.
• Experience implementing NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Airbase, Ramp; GAAP/ASC 606; clear communicator.
