What we’re looking for

We seek a motivated and action-oriented Senior Social Impact & Public Policy Program  Manager to join our Social Impact team. This person will have experience working across corporate environmental, social, and governance areas and will support our diversity, equity, and inclusion priorities externally. The ideal candidate is a go-getter and willing to step in where needed. You will understand and be passionate about creating community partnerships, employee engagement, combating the climate crisis, and influencing change through public policy. You will report to the Chief Diversity and Social Impact Officer. You have creative passion and a willingness to be hands-on to help move our social impact program forward.

What you’ll be working on

  • Working cross-functionally to manage and grow SurveyMonkey’s social impact programs globally, including employee engagement, environmental responsibility, and nonprofit partnerships.
  • Fostering a culture of volunteerism by planning and executing initiatives such as MLK Day of Service, Week of Service, and ongoing skills-based volunteer opportunities. Track and report on employee giving and volunteer metrics to ensure participation goals are met or exceeded.
  • Driving participation and growth in the SurveyMonkey Contribute program, working closely with the product team and nonprofits to meet company goals.
  • Driving our work to analyze risks and opportunities related to climate and other ESG issues and seek opportunities for continual improvement in our processes.
  • Ideating and executing social impact-related communications campaigns in collaboration with the social media and internal communications teams.
  • Implementing our new environmental roadmap, including an annual GHG inventory and a net-zero strategy by 2030
  • Following public policies and legislation aligned with our values to #standforequality while promoting civic engagement among employees 
  • Publishing our annual Social Impact Report

We’d love to hear from people with

  • 7+ years of experience in social impact, ESG, corporate responsibility, nonprofit or related field
  • A strong understanding of ESG efforts, trends, reporting, and programs that impact both corporate reputation and community
  • Experience managing employee-giving and volunteering programs, including employee-giving software vendors
  • Master collaboration skills with the ability to influence outcomes and people without reporting lines
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills 
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to project manage
  • Comfort with technology with a curiosity and willingness to learn
