Supplier Industrialization Engineer

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end industrialization for implant and robot parts across multiple commodities.
• Lead NPI builds, ramp-to-volume, and sustaining production at external suppliers.
• Drive supplier readiness: capacity planning, fixtures, tooling, and line builds.
• Partner with Design Eng on DFM/DFA/DFT to improve manufacturability, yield, and cost.
• Translate design intent into supplier manufacturing requirements and inspection plans.
• Travel to suppliers for on-site audits and verification.

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial or related field, or equivalent.
• Generalist with experience across multiple manufacturing domains; two areas.
• Familiar with CNC machining, molding, sheet metal, PCBA, optics.
• GD&T per ASME Y14.5; metrology tools (CMM, vision, leak testing).
• SolidWorks, data analysis tools (Minitab/Python/R); ERP/PLM; Jira.
• PPAP/APQP, PFMEA, control plans, FAI; ISO13485/21 CFR 820 familiarity.
