Act as technical POC for parts/systems; solve supplier challenges and mitigate risk.
Lead containment to protect build/launch schedules; drive reliability improvements.
Intervene with suppliers for critical-path parts to minimize disruption.
Review issues; root-cause; implement changes at supplier/SpaceX; re-source as needed.
DFM reviews to ensure parts are manufacturable early.
Own NPI and PPAP processes with suppliers to ensure stable delivery.

🎯 Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering
3+ years in manufacturing/inspection of mechanical products in production
Master’s degree in engineering
Machining, milling, turning, fabrication; vendor design-engineered systems
Reading drawings and GD&T
Knowledge of supplier quality processes (PPAP, APQP, FAI)
