SummitTX is seeking exceptional undergraduate candidates to join our internship program beginning in late 2025/early 2026 and continuing through graduation. This program provides a comprehensive introduction to the hedge fund industry and an opportunity to work directly with investment professionals across multiple strategies.

Candidate Profile
  • Graduation Year: Expected 2028
  • Strong academic achievement and demonstrated excellence in extracurricular pursuits.
  • Highly motivated, intellectually curious, and capable of thriving in a demanding, team-oriented environment.
  • Superior organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Passion for financial markets is required; prior finance or business coursework is not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data analytics strongly preferred.

Program Responsibilities

As an Intern, you will work closely with the Investment Team on meaningful projects, gaining insight into equity markets and hedge fund strategies. Responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting investment professionals in analyzing portfolio manager data and performance.
  • Assisting in the creation of presentations and research materials.
  • Learning the fundamentals of equity investing, equity capital markets, and market-neutral strategies.
  • Participating in team discussions and contributing ideas to investment processes.
  • Taking on day-to-day tasks that support portfolio managers and analysts.

Interns work directly with professionals across all levels of the firm, from analysts to managing directors. We foster a collaborative culture where ideas are valued, and interns are encouraged to take initiative. Mentorship and learning are central to the experience.


Commitment & Compensation
  • Summer: Full-time, 40+ hours per week
  • Academic Year: Part-time, 15–20 hours per week
  • Interns will be compensated competitively, with overtime eligibility for hours worked in excess of 40 per week.
