Where You Fit in
As the Senior Manager of FP&A, you will lead the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes, provide actionable insights into business performance, variance analysis and support strategic initiatives. You’ll work cross-functionally to build financial models, track KPIs, and provide clear, data-driven insights to guide operational and investment decisions. The finance team fosters a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement within the finance team. Reporting to the VP of FP&A and engaging directly with senior leadership, you’ll serve as a strategic partner to help align the finance strategy with the company’s ambitious growth goals. This is a highly analytical, detail-oriented role within a fast-paced, Private Equity–backed SaaS environment, requiring strong financial acumen, system expertise, and collaboration across teams.
This role operates on a hybrid model, with a mix of remote work and in-office collaboration at our Denver, CO location, specifically, working in-office a minimum of 3 days per week.
Impact You Will Make in the Role
- Budgeting and Forecasting – Own and lead the quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting, 13-week rolling cash forecast and long-term planning processes, including 3-statement modeling.
- Own and maintain the company-wide forecasting infrastructure and tools.
- Provide oversight and leadership across FP&A team members to support business objectives and drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Partner with function teams to align forecasting inputs, outputs and variance analysis with strategic goals.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting – Own the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management. Prepare board materials, financial and operational reports, flash reporting and ad hoc analysis for Management, PE sponsors and lenders. Design and maintain dashboards for visibility into ARR, CAC, LTV, ROI and other SaaS KPIs. Use financial models to conduct scenario analysis. Analyze financial data, including revenue performance, opex and KPIs to provide actionable recommendations.
- Systems and Tools Management – Serve as Adaptive Planning and OfficeConnect superuser, leading tool optimization and adoption to scale the FP&A function. Ensure data integrity and system performance to support monthly, quarterly, and long-term planning. Assist in automating and streamlining financial reporting and other Finance-related processes.
What You Bring In
- 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A.
- Proven experience in SaaS metrics, business models, and value creation levers.
- Experience with financial systems and BI tools, including Adaptive Insights.
- Strong financial 3-statement modeling and forecasting experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide actionable insights from complex data.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and results-oriented environment.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to senior management.
- Exceptional attention to detail and passion for accurate, high-quality work.
- A high sense of urgency, ability to multi-task and work under pressured timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CFA is a plus.
Compensation
Expected salary range: $170,000 - $190,000 per year.
