- Work under senior engineers to design and analyze substation systems (bus layouts, grounding)
- Perform physical and electrical design: layouts, conduit routing, cable schedules
- Support plans, sections, and control building layouts with protection details
- Create one-line diagrams, station service diagrams, BOMs, and cable schedules
- Conduct site visits for data collection and field verifications
- Report safety, health, and quality issues to management
🎯 Requirements
- Four-year Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (ABET)
- 0-2 years substation design experience
- Proficient in Windows, Word/Excel and ACAD or MicroStation and Revit
- Understands basic design standards and calculations; safety/compliance
- Strong communication; able to meet deadlines and work independently
- Follows procedures and demonstrates accountability
