Substation Engineer

📋 Description

• Checks conduit, grounding, control shelter, lighting and vendor design packages
• Performs and checks grounding calculations
• Performs and checks conduit fill calculations
• Performs and checks Sag-10 calculations
• Creates material list descriptions for major equipment
• Travels to customer offices and job sites for meetings and testing

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor degree (or higher) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
• Microsoft Word, Mathcad, Excel, and PowerPoint; strong verbal/written communication.
• Preferred: AutoCAD, CDEGS, CYMCAP, LitePro, FEAP, SAP-2000.
• Must have clean driving record to operate company vehicles.
• Overnight travel to active job sites for 1-2 weeks at a time.
• Office environment with minimal exposure to dust, noise, and hazards.
