Overview

Stripe is seeking a Technical Account Manager in Toronto to build strong customer relationships, enable seamless integrations, and drive successful adoption of Stripe products. This role focuses on technical partnerships with enterprise and growing customers, ensuring they get maximum value from Stripe’s payments platform.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of Stripe customers in North America.
  • Guide onboarding, API integration, and implementation of Stripe solutions within customer environments.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and solutions teams to resolve technical challenges and drive customer outcomes.
  • Monitor customer health, usage, and success metrics; identify and mitigate risk factors.
  • Provide best-practice guidance on payments architecture, security, and regulatory considerations.
  • Translate customer feedback into product/content improvements and contribute to internal playbooks and reference architectures.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders; advocate for customer needs internally.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in technical account management, solutions engineering, or customer success in fintech/payments or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, developer tooling, and the payments ecosystem.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, web technologies, and data analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
