Role overview
Stripe is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager to serve as a trusted technical advisor for customers in Dublin. You will help merchants and developers integrate Stripe APIs, design scalable payments solutions, and guide them from onboarding through production, ensuring reliable performance and adoption of best practices.
What you will do
- Onboard new customers and guide developers through Stripe API integrations, webhooks, and dashboards.
- Provide proactive technical guidance on architecture, security, reliability, and performance of payment solutions.
- Troubleshoot API issues and coordinate with engineering to drive root-cause analysis and fixes.
- Build strong relationships with customers, manage expectations, and advocate for their needs.
- Create and share technical documentation, best practices, and playbooks.
- Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Support to ensure successful outcomes.
Who you are
- Experience in technical customer success, solutions engineering, or developer relations.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, webhooks, authentication, and payments knowledge.
- Familiarity with programming languages common for integrations (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Ruby) and API tooling.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global company and manage multiple customer relationships.
