Staff Brand Designer, Tertiary Brands

Stripe is seeking a Staff Brand Designer for our Tertiary Brands to define and scale the visual language across Stripe’s portfolio. This senior individual contributor will own brand systems, typography, and creative direction for tertiary brands, collaborating with product, marketing, and design teams to ensure consistency and impact.

Role Overview

As a Staff Brand Designer, you will lead the development and maintenance of brand guidelines, create compelling assets for product experiences and marketing campaigns, and guide junior designers. You will translate brand strategy into tangible design language and contribute to the broader creative direction of Stripe’s tertiary brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain brand guidelines and visual systems for tertiary brands
• Design assets across product, marketing, and partnerships
• Collaborate with product, design, and marketing teams to ensure consistency
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to creative direction
• Contribute to typography, color, and imagery systems

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of brand design or creative leadership
• Strong portfolio demonstrating brand systems, typography, and campaigns
• Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Location & Work Model

Location: Canada. This role is on-site in Canada, with potential for hybrid arrangements depending on team needs.
