Security Engineer, Security Partnerships

Overview

Stripe is seeking a Security Engineer, Security Partnerships to design and scale Stripe's security partnership program. This remote role collaborates with Product, Platform, and Legal teams to ensure secure integrations with external partners and protect customer data.

What you'll do

• Assess partner security controls and perform risk assessments for external vendors and integrations.
• Define secure integration requirements for Stripe APIs and partner onboarding.
• Collaborate with Product, Platform, Legal, and Privacy teams to protect customer data.
• Coordinate security incident response with partners when needed and drive remediation.
• Help scale Stripe's security program through external partnerships and internal processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in security engineering or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with API security, OAuth, PKI, and cloud security (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Knowledge of data protection regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in payments/fintech or vendor risk management is a plus.
