The Role
As a Sales Manager for Funded Startups at Stripe, you will lead a regional sales effort focused on startups with venture funding. You will work with founders, venture funds, and accelerator programs to drive Stripe's payments and platform products in Europe.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy for funded startups in Europe
- Lead and coach a local sales team, set targets, forecast revenue, and manage performance
- Build and maintain relationships with founders, venture capital firms, and startup ecosystems
- Collaborate with product, partnerships, and customer success teams to ensure excellent customer outcomes
- Track and report pipeline, conversions, and ARR growth; represent Stripe at events and partner programs
What You’ll Need
- 5+ years in B2B SaaS or payments with a track record selling to startups
- Strong ability to develop strategic partnerships and close deals
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of fundraising cycles and startup financing is a plus
- Fluency in English; willingness to travel within Europe as required
Nice to have
- Experience selling to fintech or venture-backed startups
- CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot) and data-driven decision making
