Stripe is seeking a Product Manager for Fraud Signals and Assessments to lead the strategy and delivery of fraud detection capabilities across payments. This role is remote-friendly within North America.

About the role

You will partner with Trust & Safety, Data Science, Engineering, and other Product teams to build signals, risk scoring, and decisioning that protect Stripe's customers while enabling frictionless payments.

What you'll do

  • Define the product vision and strategy for fraud signals and risk assessments across Stripe's payments ecosystem.
  • Prioritize the roadmap, manage the backlog, and write PRDs. Own success metrics and delivery.
  • Collaborate with Data Science to turn machine learning models into production features; specify data requirements and monitor model performance.
  • Work with Engineering to design scalable architectures and APIs for fraud detection capabilities.
  • Partner with cross functional teams including Sales, Customer Support, Compliance to gather requirements and drive adoption.
  • Lead experiments and A/B tests to measure impact and iterate on product improvements.
  • Communicate updates to leadership and stakeholders; translate complex data into clear narratives.
  • Ensure security, privacy, and regulatory compliance in all fraud initiatives.

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years of product management experience in fraud, risk, payments, or security domains.
  • Strong track record of delivering ML/AI enabled fraud signals and risk scoring features.
  • Excellent analytical and data-driven decision making; proficiency with SQL and data analysis tools.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills; ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Stripe products and payments ecosystem; knowledge of KYC/AML and related regulatory considerations is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
