The Role

As the Partner Development Manager for International Banking Partnerships, you will identify, develop, and manage strategic banking partnerships across international markets to expand Stripe’s banking ecosystem. You will collaborate with product, policy, legal, and sales teams to structure partnerships, drive revenue growth, ensure compliance, and deliver value to banks and Stripe merchants.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue strategic banking partnership opportunities in target regions to accelerate Stripe’s global go-to-market.
• Lead negotiations, develop joint business plans, and close partnership deals with financial institutions.
• Manage the full lifecycle of partnerships from diligence, contracting, implementation, and ongoing optimization.
• Coordinate with Product, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Sales teams to design and launch API-based integrations and co-sell motions.
• Represent Stripe in external forums, conferences, and meetings with senior bank executives.
• Monitor partnership performance metrics, drive improvements, and report on ROI.

What You’ll Need

• 5+ years in partnerships, business development, or alliances in FinTech or banking.
• Experience negotiating and executing banking or API partnerships.
• Strong understanding of payments landscape, APIs, and Stripe’s platform.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work across time zones and travel as needed.

Nice to Have

• Experience with API integrations and developer ecosystems.
• Global market experience, especially in APAC.
