Integration Engineer, Stablecoin

About Stripe and the Role

Stripe is looking for an Integration Engineer to join our Stablecoin initiative. Based in the United States, you will design, implement, and operate secure, scalable payment integrations with stablecoin rails, wallets, exchanges, and other fintech partners. You will own API design, integration testing, deployment automation, and observability to ensure reliability and compliance across production workloads.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust integration points between Stripe and stablecoin partners, wallets, and exchanges
• Build and maintain APIs, SDKs, and connectors with a focus on reliability, security, and performance
• Collaborate with Product, Platform, Security, and Legal teams to deliver compliant fintech solutions
• Write tests, automate deployments, monitor systems, and participate in on-call rotations
• Contribute to architecture discussions and mentor junior engineers

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 3+ years of experience in software integrations, payments, or fintech platforms
• Strong experience with APIs, REST, and modern programming languages (Go, Python)
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have

• Experience with blockchain, stablecoins, or digital asset payments
• Familiarity with security and compliance in payments
