Job Description

Stripe is seeking an India / APAC Tax Analyst to join the Tax team in APAC. Based in Bengaluru, this role will support indirect tax compliance, policy interpretation, and cross-border tax initiatives across Stripe's APAC operations. You will partner with Finance, Legal, and Product teams to ensure accurate tax determination, filings, and planning. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of India GST and APAC tax regulations, strong analytical skills, and the ability to navigate complex international tax environments in a fast growing business.

Role Overview

As an India / APAC Tax Analyst you will contribute to Stripe's tax strategy and compliance in the APAC region, focusing on India GST and related indirect taxes, while assisting regional teams with tax questions and data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage indirect tax compliance for India and APAC entities, including GST filings and advisory support.
• Interpret local tax laws and ensure accurate tax determination for transactions across APAC.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Product teams to implement tax technologies and process improvements.
• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate impact to stakeholders.
• Partner with global tax teams to optimize cross-border tax planning and reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tax experience, preferably in a technology or global company.
• Strong knowledge of India GST and APAC indirect tax regimes.
• Experience with data analysis and tax software; proficiency with Excel/SQL is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
