About the teamCreating long-term value for our users is central to our mission at Stripe. The Global Alliances and Channels team focuses on driving joint go-to-market through industry-specific solutions with our most important partners, including Global Systems Integrators (GSIs) such as Accenture, PwC, Infosys, and others, in addition to our strategic technology partners, including Salesforce, Adobe, AWS, CommerceTools, and others, to ultimately deliver joint value to our users. Our objective is to ensure users have access to the broadest set of Stripe solutions and the deepest set of technology and industry experts, while at the same time ensuring our partners and Stripe build large, mutually beneficial businesses together.
What you’ll doAs the Global Strategic Alliances Leader for the Retail industry, you will focus on driving the partner strategy for the Retail industry, while delivering the credibility and thought leadership needed to build relationships with our partners’ Retail industry practices to grow the value of our joint business specific to Retail. Aligned with our Industry GTM and Product teams, this role is also responsible for the creation of relevant, value-centric solutions, supporting our users, and generating new sources of value for users and Stripe.
You will be in tight alignment with our Industry GTM and Product teams and also collaborate with the core sales, solution architects, and product marketing teams.
You will work to define and align solutions geared toward the Retail industry with select partners and broader customer and digital transformation initiatives where agentic commerce, payments, and billing are cornerstones. Success is measured by new user acquisition and revenue growth led and delivered by this cohort of partners. As an expert in retail, this leader will bring immediate credibility when engaging with senior executives in our partners’ industry practices.
ResponsibilitiesThe Global Strategic Alliances Lead for Retail will be a seasoned professional with strong business strategy, business development, and partner go-to-market business model experience. You are capable of engaging in business-level and technical conversations at multiple levels of our partners’ organization.
You’re an organized self-starter, an excellent communicator who is highly analytical and has a track record for improving the processes and organizations around you. You like to roll up your sleeves and make things happen.
