Entity Controller at Stripe

Stripe is seeking an Entity Controller to lead global entity accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls from its Ireland office. This senior finance role collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance, timely statutory reporting, and robust SOX controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly and quarterly closes for all entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
• Manage intercompany transactions, eliminations, and reconciliations across regions.
• Coordinate external audits and statutory reporting for Ireland and other jurisdictions.
• Maintain internal controls and governance processes to support SOX compliance.
• Drive process improvements in financial reporting, consolidation, and data accuracy.

Requirements

• 8+ years of accounting/finance experience; professional qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS; experience with SOX controls.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work cross-functionally.
• Based in Ireland or willing to relocate to Ireland; eligibility to work in Ireland.
