Design Director, Experiential at Stripe

Stripe is seeking a Design Director, Experiential to lead and scale the company\'s global live and brand experiences. In this role you will shape the creative direction of immersive experiences, guide multi-disciplinary teams, and partner with product, marketing, and partnerships to translate strategic goals into memorable programs.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision and strategy for experiential design across events, activations, and brand experiences.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of designers, producers, and researchers.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, partnerships, and executive leadership to ensure experiences align with Stripe\'s goals.
• Oversee concepts, storytelling, visual language, and production from ideation to delivery.
• Partner with operations, vendors, and venues to execute high-quality experiences on time and budget.
• Measure impact, synthesize learnings, and iterate on programs at global scale.

Requirements

• 10+ years of design leadership with a strong portfolio in experiential design, live events, or brand experiences.
• Proven track record in creative direction, concept development, and design systems.
• Proficiency with tools such as Figma, After Effects, Cinema 4D, and related workflows.
• Exceptional storytelling and collaboration skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Strong program management and stakeholder management capabilities, with experience coordinating global teams.
