Stripe is seeking a Data Scientist to join our Toronto team. In this role you will analyze large datasets to inform product decisions, build statistical models and data-driven insights, design and run experiments, and collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics teams to shape Stripe's roadmap. You will develop dashboards and reporting to communicate findings, translate business questions into data analyses, and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders.

What you'll do

Analyze and interpret complex data to drive product strategy and decision-making.
Build and validate statistical models and experiments.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams to deliver data-driven recommendations.
Develop dashboards and reporting to monitor key metrics and communicate insights.
Present findings to stakeholders and translate business questions into data analyses.

Qualifications

Experience in data science or analytics; strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and data visualization tools.
Ability to work with large datasets and derive actionable insights.
